As you realized, the most part of the kanjis are translated in hiragana, so It's very important to learn hiragana before learn kanji.

I created flashcards with games and quiz of all the kanjis of the first grade (Ichinen)

３－１ あたらしい かんじ （上 ・ 下 ・ 中）

Kanji -上
translation - On / Over
reading - うえ - ue
example : いすの上（isu no ue)
On the chair.

Kanji -下
translation - Under
reading - した - shita
example: テ－ブルの下 (teburu no shita)
Under the table.

Kanji - 中
translation - Inside / In
reading - なか - naka
example:はこの中 (hako no naka)
Inside the box.

Exercises:

Answer the exercises in the comments according to the number of the question.

Vocabulary:
ほん- Book
つくえ- Desk
ねこ- Cat
はこ- Box
けしごむ- Eraser
どこ-Where
か-Used in the final of the sentence when you ask something.
の- Particle to connect two nouns.
は- Shows that the word before is the principal topic of the sentence.
